Men’s Health

Specific to men, we treat bladder symptoms related to prostate surgery and pelvic pain. Muscle weakness is common after prostate surgery, and muscle training with biofeedback helps to restore bladder control. Muscle tightness can lead to problems with constipation or pelvic pain – conditions such as levator ani spasm or non-relaxing puborectalis. Physical therapy offers a program of manual therapy, including internal trigger point work as needed, as well as stretching and relaxation training.
