Julie DePaul, PT, WCS, BCB-PMD

Julie has lived and worked in Bellingham since graduating in physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach. She developed her expertise in orthopedics, women’s health, and chronic pain management working at local hospitals and orthopedic physical therapy clinics.

In 2004, Julie opened Healthy Focus Physical Therapy. Pursuit of knowledge of the most effective treatments for women’s health conditions led her to study the pelvic floor, biofeedback, abdominal and pelvic organ fascia manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and nerve manipulation.

She is a board-certified clinical specialist in women’s health physical therapy, and is board certified in biofeedback for the pelvic floor. As a women’s health clinical specialist she is one of 32 physical therapy specialists in the state of Washington.

Wren McLaughlin, PT, DPT, PRC, WCS, MS

Wren earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University and holds a master’s degree in human movement and performance from Western Washington University. Wren is a board-certified clinical specialist in women’s health through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Additionally, she is postural restoration certified, having completed extensive training and testing in the treatment of disordered breathing, posture, and gait through the Postural Restoration Institute. Her approach to restoring healthy movement patterns is both holistic and playful. She is a Bellingham native and is passionate about hiking, cycling, and gardening in the magnificent Pacific Northwest.

Kelly Lunda Sampson, PT, MOMT

Kelly comes to us with twenty-seven years of clinical expertise, extensive continuing education, and a wide variety of sports experience including six years on the U.S. National Speed Skating Team and as a U.S. Olympic Speed Skating Team alternate. She graduated in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and from the University of Utah with a Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

In 2014, Kelly relocated her private practice of 15 years from Seattle to Bellingham, and she joined Healthy Focus in 2016. Kelly has specialty training in sports medicine, integrative manual therapy, orthopedic manual therapy, advanced cranio sacral therapy, chronic pain, and spinal dysfunction.

She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, and most outdoor activities.

Stephanie Higbee

Stephanie is our Office Manager and multitasker extraordinaire. She will assist you with scheduling and answer your individual insurance questions. She is usually the first person you speak with at Healthy Focus PT.
